A lightweight professional pH control gel created for Korean lash lift services, BALANCE supports the lashes both during and after chemical processing.

Use it as Step 1.5 after Step 1 to support the mid-lengths and tips before setting, then return to BALANCE as Step 3 at the end of the service to help remove remaining product residue, support pH balance and leave the lashes feeling soft, flexible and polished.

HOW TO USE — STEP 1.5 / 3

After Step 1 and before Step 2: once your softening stage is complete, thoroughly remove Step 1 according to your professional system. Apply a small, controlled amount of BALANCE through the mid-lengths and tips, avoiding unnecessary saturation at the roots.

Use this stage as an extra control point when you want to be more intentional with areas that may already have received enough chemical exposure before you move into Step 2.

HOW TO USE — STEP 3 / 3

After Step 2: once the neutraliser has been fully removed and the lift is complete, apply BALANCE through the lashes. Gently work it through the lash fibre and remaining product residue, then remove excess product as required in your finishing routine.

PRO ARTIST NOTE

A lash line is not one uniform zone. Roots, mids and tips can behave differently depending on previous treatments, natural lash condition and how much product contact each area has had.

BALANCE was created to give artists another point of control inside the service. It does not replace correct Step 1 or Step 2 timing, processing assessment or manufacturer instructions.

FAQ

Is this Step 3 or Step 4?
In the AÉRA system, BALANCE can be used as Step 1.5 / 3 mid-service or Step 3 / 3 after neutralisation. Your nourishing cream is a separate conditioning / wrap-support step rather than the primary pH-control step.

Do I need to use it twice in every service?
No. Some services may benefit from the Step 1.5 application, the Step 3 application, or both.

Does it replace neutraliser?
No. It does not replace Step 2. Neutralisation / setting must still be completed correctly with your lash lift system.

Can I use it at the roots during Step 1.5?
The Step 1.5 method is intended primarily for the mid-lengths and tips, where you may want extra control after softening.

Can I use it with other professional lash lift systems?
It is designed around the AÉRA workflow. When using it with another professional system, follow that manufacturer’s processing and safety instructions and use professional judgement.
